"Public support is the lifeblood of any successful conservation project"

Hen Harrier Weekend 2016 was a real success.  You can get details of how all the events went by clicking HERE.

And Mark Avery's petition has attracted more than 100,000 signatures, which is a fantastic achievement.

But there is still work to do.  We still need to get the message out there and get more people involved.

At HHDay North East, Blanaid Denman who manages  the RSPB's Hen Harrier LIFE+ project said:

"Public support is the lifeblood of any successful conservation project.  If people don't KNOW

what's happening, then people don't CARE what's happening.  If people don't CARE what's happening, then nothing is ever going to change."

So how can you help get more people to care about the Hen Harrier's plight?

Lets build on 2016's success and

get the message to more people!!
